Methodology
The section explains where topics come from and how conclusions are checked. It also says when a text alone is not enough.
How a topic comes up
We take on questions that keep coming back. Every conclusion rests on a figure that can be checked independently.
What the material will not settle
The material is for reference and does not replace professional advice. A responsible choice is better made with someone who examines your particular case.
Updating the material
We come back to a text when the figures or rules it describes go out of date. Moving a comma is not accompanied by a new date.
Material on this site is prepared and checked by Catherine Ashford.
