Where can I get a blog? Are they free?

Blogger and Wordpress are free. Typepad has a free option but if you want to customize your page at all, and of course you would want to do that, there is a fee to do so.

I use Blogger. If you also choose Blogger you'll be in luck as there will often be tips in the tutorials that relate specifically to Blogger since that is the program I'm familiar with.

There are also larger social sites like LiveJournal, Myspace and Blogher. That offer the option of creating a blog using their space so that not only are you then creating a blog but have a captured audience of those already using those websites.

Please note: Not all submissions will be approved. Criteria for a listing on Best Bridal Blogs are both quality and frequency of posts. If your submission is denied we'll let you know why. If you really want to be listed here you're welcome to reapply once the issue has been resolved. The more the merrier! We prefer a minimum of 2 posts per week but 6 per month is also acceptable until more of you get into blogging. Listings on this site are reserved for brides and The Flirty Guide Professionals
